About The Central Library

 

The college library is not a part of the college but the heart of the institution since 1972 with a collection of 4074 Books at present the central library of the college has a very rich collection of 33735 books (volumes) and 20000 titles on various subjects like commerce, science, and arts, etc. The total area of the library is 3193 sq. ft. 

 

Mission

  • To help rural Students, to enrich their knowledge, to create a better world for themselves.

  • To encourage students to read beyond the requirements of the curriculum & inculcate reading habit.

  • The Library intends to offer comprehensive services related to the dissemination of knowledge.

  • To acquire, organize and update the library collection to support  teaching-learning process

  • To provide instruction and assistance in the effective use of learning resources.

  • The Library intends to incorporate the latest technology and adopt a user-friendly approach towards students and faculty.

Rules and Regulations of the library

​

  • Admission to the library is strictly against identity cards, student should submit identity card whenever staff demand

  • Students, Teachers, and administrative staff are entitled to enroll themselves in the library.

  • Silence shall be strictly observed in the library, please converse in a low voice and politely

  • Tobacco products, smoking, and electronic devices like mobile, eye pads, etc are strictly prohibited.

  • Books, journals, newspapers, and rare books should be used carefully, and also do not mark in the library book.

  • Any damage to the book or the library's furniture has to be made good by the student.

  • Each student who has enrolled library member will be issued with three books for home.

  • Return the books on or before the due date mentioned in the due date slip returning books after due date is liable for a penalty.

  • The student who loses the book will have to pay double the book's value.

  • Reference books, rare books, and periodicals are not issued to the home.
